Fragrile Items can not be abruply stop. the foam need to have enought room to slow the momentam down to a gradual stop and recoil The most frequent foam packaging mistake is not planning for a large enought box that provides suffiecnt space to keep the product  from collide within the box wall. One must consider products weight, how high it may be dropped and how fragile the product is.

 

First, the most important decision iis choose a a box that provide suffiecnt space for the choosen foam to absorb 

 

here are several foam packaging concepts illustrated with in this section.

All of these designs are sized and shaped to protect the same size product. They all fit in the same box and they all have the same inner dimensions. Each offers a differnt level of protection and a differnt level of cost. A good design is one that will suffeciantly protect your porduct at the minumum price.
